Thank you for registering your child(ren) at St. Frances de Chantal School for the upcoming school year 2017-2018.
This year when you received your tuition information packet, included was an Archdiocese of New York Parishioner Grant Verification form. All families who wish to apply for this grant must be registered in the parish, complete the form and return it to school.
There are certain requirements in order to receive and secure this generous parishioner grant:
Adults MUST be registered in the parish.
Parish registration is in the rectory of the church.
Adults MUST attend Saturday evening or Sunday Mass with their children.
Attendance is recorded by using the adult envelopes. (Children receive their own envelopes in school). The adult envelope is our way of determining your weekly attendance in order to award you the parish grant.
If a family is not registered in the parish and is not attending weekly Mass, you will be in danger at anytime of losing the Parish Grant and will have to pay the non-parish tuition rate.
As you know, St. Frances de Chantal is a Catholic school and our classroom teaching includes a full program of religion. We teach weekly Mass as a part of the faith and we need you to support this Catholic teaching by your weekly attendance at Mass.
If you have any questions, please speak with Monsignor Graham, the pastor, who monitors the registrations for the parish and the attendance records. As of September 1, 2017, this policy will be strictly monitored and PARISH GRANTS WILL ONLY BE AWARDED BASED ON REGISTRATION IN THE PARISH AND CHURCH ATTENDANCE.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Grace Lucie
Ms. Grace Lucie, Principal
